Clear Cache Data
Removing this data can help the overall performance of your system, especially if it is not working optimally. There are different kinds of cache files that you can remove, and I will walk you through the process.
Temporary Files
Step-1: Go to the Start menu and type disk cleanup. Click Open.
Step-2: In the Files, to delete a section, select the files you wish to remove.
Step-3: Select Clean up system files.
Step-4: The app will then calculate how much space will be freed up if you delete these files.
Step-5: Select the files you wish to remove and press OK.
Step-6: Select Delete Files.
Now, wait till the process finishes.
Windows Store Cache
When you download or update an app using the Microsoft Store, cache data is stored. This also takes up storage space, and you can delete it to save space.
- Open the Run box using Win + R keys.
- Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.
This will reset the Windows Store and delete the cache data.
Location

Step-2: Select Privacy.
Step-3: On the left pane, there are various options. Select Location under App permissions.
Step-4: Scroll down and under the heading Location history, select Clear.
DNS Cache
Step-1: Go to the Start menu and type cmd.
Step-2: Select Run as administrator.
Step-3: You will be asked, 'Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?' Click Yes.
Step-4: Type the following command and press Enter:
ipconfig/flushDNS
Browser

Chrome
- Open Google Chrome.
- Now press the Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys on your keyboard.
- Select All time in the Time range drop-down menu and check the Cached images and files box.

Edge

- Select Settings.
